Đại dịch COVID-19 đã lây lan và bùng phát mạnh, để nhanh chóng ngăn chặn sự lây lan của dịch COVID-19, bên cạnh các biện pháp phòng ngừa tích cực bao gồm: đeo khẩu trang, rửa tay bằng xà phòng hoặc dung dịch sát khuẩn, giữ khoảng cách an toàn …, thì việc sử dụng vắc xin phòng ngừa chủ động càng ngày càng trở nên cấp bách tại từng quốc gia và toàn cầu.

Tiêm vắc xin COVID-19 là biện pháp quan trọng để bảo vệ sức khoẻ: Vắc xin COVID-19 giúp hệ miễn dịch nhận biết và sẵn sàng chống lại virus nếu chúng xâm nhập vào cơ thể. Trong bối cảnh đại dịch COVID-19 vẫn diễn biến phức tạp, tiêm vắc xin là một biện pháp quan trọng để bảo vệ sức khoẻ. Dựa trên những gì đã biết về vắc-xin đối với các bệnh khác và dữ liệu ban đầu từ các thử nghiệm lâm sàng, các chuyên gia tin rằng tiêm vắc-xin ngừa COVID-19 cũng giúp ngăn ngừa khả năng bị bệnh nặng ngay cả khi đang nhiễm COVID-19.

Tiêm vắc xin COVID-19 giúp bảo vệ những người xung quanh: Người được tiêm vắc-xin đầy đủ ít có khả năng bị lây nhiễm bệnh mà không có triệu chứng (hay còn gọi là lây nhiễm không triệu chứng) cũng như ít có khả năng lây lan vi-rút COVID-19 cho những người khác. Tự mình tiêm phòng cũng giúp bảo vệ những người xung quanh, đặc biệt là người lớn tuổi và người có các bệnh mạn tính những người có nhiều nguy cơ mắc bệnh nặng do COVID-19 , thậm chí là tử vong hơn những người khác.

Bộ Y tế kêu gọi người dân đồng lòng, quyết tâm phòng chống dịch Covid-19. Mỗi người dân cần chung tay nâng cao ý thức và trách nhiệm đồng thời thực hiện tốt các khuyến cáo của Bộ Y tế và thực hiện tiêm vắc xin phòng Covid – 19 khi tới lượt sẽ góp phần chiến thắng đại dịch này./.
